In our department two people were about to leave and one coming on board therefore we decided to have all three for lunch today and what a lunch it was. To begin with my boss was present so the two hours we sat in the restaurant was not a big deal, since silently it was authorized. One of our colleagues decided on Turkish and we all went along with it and that decision turned out to be a very good one for all of us. This I gathered from the feedback we all gave at the middle and end of the meal. Expensive it was but great tasting and definitely worth it. I have never eaten Turkish before and I have to say I was so impressed with the taste, now I am a fan and a returning one at that. It was ten of us and we could not finish the food so you now realize that the portions are also very big, we had to take some back. This is not the normal trend because usually when the food is so good the portions are small and the price is high. We had chicken, lamb and vegetables with lemonade. I ate so much that it made my journey back to work painful because we had to walk about eight blocks. I would definitely have to visit this place again in the near future but I also have to be careful since it will cost a sum. I thanked the lady who suggested this and we all promised to heed her advice the next time we are eating out as a group. This restaurant (I don’t remember the name) actually has a bar just in case you needed to quench your thirst with a drink of alcohol. Now I know why almost every lunch time this place is full especially with the recession and all.
